Echo Huang, a professor at NKUST, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, 'NKUST is excited about this new chapter, partnering with Ripple’s UBRI to explore the potential of Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization on the XRP Ledger.' In Australia, RIP has solidified ties with institutions like the Australian National University and Victoria University, bringing their total funding in the region to $1.3 million.
This commitment follows Ripple’s earlier investment of $25 million in RLUSD to support education initiatives in the U.S. and the establishment of the National Cryptocurrency Association intended to advance crypto education domestically. Ripple Labs’ CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, has committed that $50 million will support the new nonprofit's initiatives.
